Good grief, what is going on? My team is falling apart, Peterson is out with a high ankle sprain (probably for several weeks), Miles Austin is out and has been out for several weeks with a hamstring and now Fred Jackson has a broken leg and is gone for the year. Thank you football gods for the fantasy suicide. Well I guess I can only wait and see what happens from here on out.

You should try to get Spiller and Garheart if there still there.

i looked for spiller if was taken, I picked of Kevin Smith is was looking good til late 1st quarter then guess what he left the game injuried. Just my luck it seems. Stafford is killing me now as well. Is it to late to just throw in the towel and wait for next year if there is a next year.

Yeah, I sure learned a lot for a first try. True, my team is also falling apart, but I'm still having fun (and missing my first 2 picks to autodraft didn't help, either). I'm thinking on promoting Dan Bailey to starters, specially now that Dallas does not have Austin to score TD's anymore, I think I might get more and more mileage out of him rather than Gostkowski, since between Wes Welker, Hernandez and Gronkowski, and sometimes Benjarvus, NE is well served in the TD department, so Field Goals are a bit more rare, and extra points need pretty high mileage out of them to make it worth it to keep the kicker.

Yeah 10 team leagues are a lot better.  Though injuries can really kill you there...I had Jamaal Charles, Jahvid Best and Felix Jones as week 1 starters in a 10-teamer...thankfully I have DeMarco Murray (Honestly, I can't think of a better free agent pick-up this year, maybe Cam Newton?)  I wish he got more touchdowns, but when he is giving you 11-12 points of yardage without one I can't complain.

If everyone plays the waiver wire closely you'd be surprised how few good players are left on the waiver wire in a 10 teamer...I'm in a competitive 14 team ppr league, and that is a lot of fun.

I'm in a 12 team ppr which was an auction draft. Really fun....and a Yahoo league could work(well for me anyways).

Hahaha, speaking of injuries I shoulda named my team the Trenton Bodybags this year. Miles Austin can't stay healthy, Fred Jackson gone for the Year, Peterson who knows when he will play again since the vikings just suck, I started with Schaub but let him go but he turned up to go out for the year. Even when I picked a replacement for an injuried player that play 5 minutes in their game and go out injuried (Kevin Smith). Just bad luck this year, but somehow I seem to still be doing good .

Good luck in the playoffs to all,

NK

Let's just say, In hindsight, taking Michael Vick in the first round was a poor decision.

I'll enjoy my time in the consolation bracket.
