Faulty Foils?

I recently got back into the game and bought my first couple of packs of Hunters.  Out of 6 packs I got 3 rare foils. Eomer, Horsemaster, Aragorn, Thorongil, and Legolas, Of the woodland Realm. Pretty decent. However both the eomer and the legolas have extra flakes of foil on the edges! what gives? Is this something common with the foils of that set? Kind of upsetting, I'm sure it decreases the value signifcantly.  Not only that, one pack had an aragorn, swift hunter starter card instead of a rare. Pretty lame. 

I remember once years ago when I bought a pack of helm's deep and it didn't have a rare in it I emailed decipher and they sent me 3 rare foils from two towers! I suppose it's no use complaining to decipher this time!

Maybe it's like a mis-stamped coin -- mistakes make their worth shoot up astronomically! If only...

Yeah as I recall, Swift Hunter was somehow accidentally stuck in the rare slot in a LOT of packs, actually. That was a bit of a big complaint for awhile. IIRC, Decipher's response was something along the lines of: "Oops... sorry... well, we're not gonna do anything about it. Good luck next time."

Actually, D released Thorongil at 1/4th the rarity of an uncommon in the next set, to make up for it. I remember that pack. Nabbed a Throne of Isengard FOIL and Thorongil. w00t!

BTW, did it have an Easterling Dispatcher? :O
