Feedback about CCG-SINGLES.COM
« on: August 17, 2011, 02:02:22 PM »
Hey all,

I'm thinking about putting some work into improving my website (I have some SWCCG and MECCG that I'm working on cataloging so I can post them to the site ... and I might be adding some more Hunters Block stuff in the coming weeks as well!).

Anyway I just wanted to see if anyone here had any feedback. Things I could improve, etc. Things that have confused you? Things that may have prevented you from buying cards in the past.

I'm learning as I go, so I may not be able to implement too many things at once, but I thought I would see if anyone had any thoughts since I know many of the people that buy from my website come from this great community here.

Let me know. You can post here or PM me, either way.
Thanks

Maybe take the information category on the left bottom and turn them into tabs across the top of the page or near the bottom of the header. Where the image of the the games you have are make them into clickable links directly to the games. Or even move them to the top and make them a bit smaller, then insert a possible deal of the day or week there. I like the overall theme of the page the color and and fonts are fine not to flash, not to dull!

The last time I ordered cards from CCG Singles (about a month ago) I was a little frustrated by the fact than when I would look through the list of cards from a set and click on the box next to a particular card to type '1' or '2' or whatever quantity I wanted, I then had to remember to go all the way to the bottom of the page to click to button to add it to my cart. It may sound silly, but I forgot to scroll down and click that button several times as I was selecting quantities cards from the different sets, and so I ended up accidentally omitting many of the cards I wanted from my list. When my order arrived I was disappointed to not get many of the cards I had been expecting. Though I quickly discovered the reason and admitt it was my own fault, I do think it would be better if there was an add to card button next to each card on the list. If there had been, I would have bought more cards from you on that occasion.

Even though I don't buy often (from any site actually), I think your store is very easy to navigate and find the card I'm looking for. Other stores I know of have an option to show only those items that are in stock - I'm not really a fan of that option, but I can see why a person might be.

I guess one option that I'd like is the ability to collapse a category on the left without navigating to a new category or subcategory. Don't know if it's possible, but still.

Any plans for a buy list with cash/store credit options?

That's all I can think of for now, but I'll post again if I think of anything else.

Steve

I have been a semi-frequent purchaser from ccg-singles when one of the few foils that I am looking for shows up in shop.

My selfish recommendation is that you buy cards at a discount for store credit. I wouldn't mind getting rid of what is left of my collection and how else do you fill your inventory?

Other selfish recommendation: If you get a Simbelmyne (foil), PM me before you post it to the site.

Merci beaucoup.

lol I just realized they are clickable links! I usually go straight to the left and pick the sets I am looking for.

I love the site. I think it's easy and pain-free to navigate. The one complaint I have is if I leave my cart untouched for too long, it resets and my cart empties, but other than everything else is smooth as butter.

Which Star Wars CCG are you planning to sell cards from? I'm looking for some stuff from Wizard's game!

That's the TCG. Also known as Star Wars Yahtzee in some circles.

I love your site! I have made several purchases and will probably make more purchases before it's all said and done! Thank you so much for having your cards so easy to purchase and your prompt delivery.

If you get any Simblemyne at all, I'll be happy to purchase them.

Right. Thanks for the clarification.
