One other thing that came up in the game was Arwen's Fate automatically exerted both Arwen and Aragorn and added a bunch of strength to the minions.
Fixed, will be on the server later today. Thanks for the report.

I think the problem I had earlier with not drawing cards was that I had selected the auto-pass option in the settings.
The auto-pass can't have anything to do with it. All it does, is that if there is no cards to click for the user, it automatically sends "Pass" to the server.

Please describe the drawing cards problem.

Basically, I went first and moved twice at the end of the second move regroup phase I had no cards and it didn't draw any cards.  My opponent went and on his regroup phase I couldn't draw cards.  Then I had a turn again and moved once and during the regroup, it didn't draw any cards.  Maybe it was a problem that because I moved twice on the first turn, it applied the 'don't draw cards' in the first move regroup phase from there on out.

Haha, like 2 days ago I've added a "fix" that if you have no cards in hand, it will not ask you to discard a card during reconcile. Instead what I did, I not only removed the discard a card part if you have no cards, but also the "Draw to 8 cards" effect. I'll fix it today.

Certain sites are having their text apply no matter how far the fellowship has moved.  I think this needs to be changed so that the site's text only applies when the fellowship is at that site.

Back in the day when I played LotR, I played the way you describe. But after reading carefully the Comprehensive rules, I found that:
- "site texts are always active", I assume it means that their static abilities apply all the time, this makes sense since some sites specifically mention that their text only applies when the fellowship is there, for example compare Ford of Bruinen and Dimrill Dale,
- "you can use only site where the current fellowship is", I assume "use" here means activate phase/response ability.

That is how its currently implemented. If the general consensus is that it should work any other way, I'm fine changing thay, not a lot of work.

Unfortunately, the Comprehensive rules raise more questions than they answer if you want to know some rule intricacies. I guess it would be nice to have a rule liaison...

Hmm, what you say makes sense. This would change the game hugely... No one plays that way, but it does make sense. Implications: East Road*, Moria Stairway*, Trollshaw forest*, Weatherhills*, Bree Gate, Great Chasm, Lothlorien woods, and a couple more, just to name some from FotR block. This is really insane, gonna have to get a rules expert here.

It's "sites are always active", not "sites' texts are always active. A site being active means that you can play a card on it, play a card that will replace it, stack a card there, spot a keyword that is on a site etc. Site's text may be used only when the fellowship (currently active one) is there and this applies to all texts, no matter if it's static one, phase action, response action or anything else.

I'll change it that way. Though I'm not in the country now, so I won't be able to apply the fix to server till Friday.

Yes, it appears it's down. My guess would be - a friend of mine who takes care of my apartment when I'm away, probably thought I forgot to turn off the PC and did that. I'll try to contact him and get him to start the server again. I'll post here, when it's back up.

Sorry.

Twice now the game has frozen at site 2, first time was during assignment and second was during archery. Both timers stopped ticking and neither of us could do anything
