Would Leechcraft prevent Madril DoO from using his gametext?

No, since it is not a special ability. Special abilities are always introduced by a word in bold letters. Maneuver:, Archery:, Skirmish:
..."Elves seldom give unguarded advice, for advice is a dangerous gift, even from the wise to the wise, and all courses may run ill"...

Treachery can prevent Madril, DoO, too bad its an event and would only last until that regroup phase. Who knows maybe that one site could be all that you need though.

I actually found a good fix to Madril DoO: Just get 1-2 copies of ships of great draught into your deck and drain out all the threats in the shadow phase.

They add them in the maneuver phase with Thorongil right back at you.

This is not that big problem. Important thing is that there are no threats at the start of maneuver phase, so Madril, DoO doesn't make minions roaming and Ithilien Blade doesn't work.

DoO is start of the maneuver phase. If Thorongil adds threats then they either come off as wounds or tokens on my next shadow phase.

Ok, my fault. Took Madril as a continuous action, without timing.

Do they really? Madril, DoO is a mandatory action, transferring Faramir's Company is voluntary, both take place at the start of maneuver phase, aren't mandatory actions always resolved before voluntary ones?

It is my understanding that this is correct. Mandatory actions come before voluntary actions.
