Hunters Block Artwork
« on: December 04, 2011, 08:58:50 AM »
I thought it would be interesting to some of you to be able to take a closer look at the booster boxes from the last block, considering that probably aren't too many who were able to do so when these boxes could be bought.

Rise of Saruman

Notes:
There are several editing errors. Apparently they simply used the blurp from the Shadows box, but forgot to update some of the data (i.e. "A complete set of the Shadows base set includes 266 cards", "To begin play, you should purchase one of four unique Starter Decks, sold separately.") I did not know that Reflections was still being advertised in 2006. Decipher must have had a lot of stock lying around...

Treachery and Deceit:

Notes:
There is sloppy editing at work here, too. There is a typo ("Treachery and Deciet", line 1) as well as a rather opaque reference to "four unique Starter Decks". Was it still possible to buy TH and RoS starters, when T&D hit the shelves?

I also have sealed boosters I could scan for you. Please let me know, if there is any demand. Cheers!

Ummm....good observations? :P

But what was the point of the topic, other than pointing out errors? :O
A wizard is never late...nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to.

I think his first sentence sums it up pretty well.

Thanks Ununtrium.  I never did get a sealed booster box of RoS.  I got some of the last loose packs (40) and sealed starter boxes (2) from the net right as they became impossible to find apart from spending 350+ on Ebay.
