Ents with Lurkerswarm

Hi there,
I'm new to GCCG since a few days.
Today i was searching for a new fp, because i have the impression that my beloved Ents aren't strong enough and for a shadow that could be fun to play, too.
I found a shadow like Troll-Swarm which reminded me of the Lurker-Swarm I allways wanted to play in RL but never got the cards for it. So i decided to build a Lurker-Swarm-Deck. After it was build, I searched again for a fp an found a deck, that drove me crazy and surprisingly it was an Ent-Deck. :-D
Now I would like to hear some thoughts of you, what should be changed or whatever comes in your mind.

It's 36/36 and Sites will be 9x Underground.

I really like the starting!
Discard the Hobbits and replace them with the other companions. Pump the Ents play what you have and try to make your deck freeps-free.
The shadow wants to get extra pool through the exertions and then swarm asap because i think the freeps won't be able to reach site 9. Correct me if I'm wrong.


So, what do you think about this Deck?


BTW: What (other) kind of freeps could match such a Lurker-Swarm? The only freeps i really won't play are Hobbits, because I just don't like them.

I'd drop Fatty, and Ent Horde and Host of Fangorn, and throw in Leaflock, Finglas.  Also, swap out Gandalf, Returned, for Gandalf, Leader of the Company.  As for the events, you really don't need Warmed Up a Bit, it's 4 extra cards which could be holding something really powerful, on that note, I'd add 4 G for Grand.  You really won't need Deep in Thought (Pallando will kill most conditions as it is) and Roll of Thunder isn't going to do much with just one copy, either get rid of it or add a couple.  I'd recommend Gandalf's Staff, Ash Staff, to help pick off extra minions and cycle.  Also, Terrible and Evil isn't going to do much, I'd cut it.  Another freeps which might go well with this shadow is dwarfs with Till Durin Wakes Again.  The shadow is good though, keep that.

First of all: thanks for your comment Haszor :-)

DiT, RoT and TaE...yeah, that are the cards, i doubt the most about. I was not sure, if eg. Pallando is enough etc.
Gandalf, LotC was the other Gandy, I considered but then thought Gandy, Returned would help to get started because he could instantly pump himself with glamdring, so there is burden removal on the table and a freeps card less in the deck.
Leaflock is in there, I posted a wrong one...
G for Grand also was in the cardpool I thought about at the begining but cutted it, because of the decksize.
Ash Staff would be the better option if played the way you recommend. Maybe i should add 1-2 Watch and Wait then, so GfG always spots its requirement? (is it correct english?^^)

What about some healing or protection like Salve or so?


The point about Warmed up a bit is only to discard the hobbits. I only took them to play this massiv starting. I'll think about it...

I know a guy that play this in real life, your dead at site 5 or 7 every game. only way to beat it is mass condition removal. or mayb killing the rallying orc before he goes crazy.

Yeah, +1 Demoralized for sure. Mountain Troll and Horror of Harad too but I think he does not need to take out the hammers, I like them.

But this barrage and great cost can be out.

I beat this shadow with my solo Smeagol. Gladden homestead at site 8 and run! Hand clog! hahaha!
