GCCG images

I've downloaded/installed LotR, but when I go to play the game I don't get the images of the cards.  I've tried re-installing the card images, but the installation stops about 10 seconds in.  Have tried re-downloading and installing, and that didn't work.  Is there any thing that can be done about this or am I gonna have to live with this?
