Hm....This is not really what I had expected 

Another reason for founding this council is to create new cards for the following two Hobbit movies.
If we can manage to convince an enterprise to produce further cards, it has to be discussed by the americans and european members of this council.

In order to do so, the next person would not only have to secure rights to use the pictures, but also secure rights from Decipher to avoid copyright problems with mechanics, rules, etc. That being said, I don't think the Hobbit is going to spawn any new DCs, unless we here make our own set and play it online via SdA. Other than that, probably not happening.

The first step would be to contact decipher with a kind of petition.

Not trying to spoil your hopes, but has anyone noticed that since they stopped making the game, Decipher cares squat about us? And they're going to notice a petition?

Just stick with building an online base big enough to support several Hobbit Sets online that we can run via SdA. That's about all I think possible with regards to continuing to make the game.

Plus, I don't think I want anyone else to make new cards. D really blew it at the end, so either the new people can...

A). Continue to blow it.
B). Make cards that can't compete.
C). Mass ban half the cards in Hunters block.

So I'm not sure I'd even want new cards coming out. That, and the infeasibility makes me think that any new cards should be limited to online only.

I'd have to agree with NBarden here. LotR was pretty epic until the last sets, with everything going down the drain. It might be best to leave the physical version of this game alone when it's still a good thing.
