Howdy I was considering selling off a bunch of cards and was not sure on the best way to go about it. I have sets 1 thru 16 about complete only missing these cards as far as sets go,

If I was to sell them would it be better to break them into sets and sell them or try to sell them as one complete lot?  I also have probably around 4 or 5 thousand extra commons and around 800 or more uncommons along with 400 or 500+ sites I was thinking about getting rid of too. It is a huge lot, I was going to keep my foils other then a complete Reflections set I would through in with a sell of all the sets together.

Not sure yet but if I do it would be in the next week or so mainly just getting ideas about ways to go about it and get the word out for anyone looking to get complete sets. I would probably list them on ebay and see how it goes once I decide on how to list them.

things will sell faster (and maybe get more money) if you sell them as individual sets.  However, if you are willing to wait until 1 person wants to buy everything, you might be able to get more money by being the only person offering so many sets at once

True, I was kinda thinking that I could list them all at once and put a starting bid on them at around 500 and see what happens. I might do that and if they don't sell I will re-list them as individual sets. It would be a good opportunity for a collector to get them all at once. I will have to see how much it would cost to ship them all, it would weigh alot. I will leave the movie block sets in binders and I have sets 11, 12 and 13 in soft sleeves in advance starter boxes and sets 9, 14, 15 and 16 in soft sleeves and top loaders including the commons and uncommons. It would be in a pretty big box lol.

Okay I just went and weighed out the cards and it is around 25lbs. I then checked out the cost of shipping at usps and it estimates it at around $40. Does this sound close to the price of shipping or am I way off. Also I think that ebay will charge me around 9% on the cost of the sale too. It is all so confusing lol. I am thinking about listing them but really want to make sure I am not leaving anything out cost wise. I also wonder if anyone would be interested in buying them. I would not list them for less then 500 as a starting bid. Hmmmm and then there is this part of me saying noooooo don't do it lol.

Howdy as of right now I am really only thinking about selling the non foils. I have a bunch of foils but I am still hooked on them lol. Maybe one of these days.

Although if I do list them I will include a complete Reflections set and the Wraith collection.

Also am noticing that when I go to the main page for listing that I don't see it. I was wondering if it is just me though? Will be back later and hopefully it will show with the rest. I was looking under toys and hobbies then trading card games and Lord of the rings. Then I change my view to newly listed still can't see it. I hope I did it all right lol. Peace
