Shooting in Aurora Colorado
« on: July 20, 2012, 07:15:36 AM »
Anyone here about this. So a guy went into a century 16 theater and went into the Mid-night showing of Batman. He had a bullet proof vest, helmet, and a gas mask on. He went into the auditorium and started throwing tear gas and shooting everyone he saw. Even little kids. He killed 12 people and at least 50 others were injured. The cops caught him as he was in the parking lott. And where it happened is a 10-15 minute drive from my house. And its also the theater I always go to.

It's very saddening.  I hear there's a petition going around to have Christian Bale go visit those injured from the shooting in the Batman costume.  That would be very heroic, I think.

What's really disturbing about the whole thing is that the shooter did all this during a part of the movie when Bane - the villain - enters Wall Street and opens fire on civilians.  Makes you wonder if the guy was just waiting for that moment...
Do not take dragons lightly.  They are heavier than you think.

Agreed there mm. Weird thing is he tipped off the cops about his apartment being rigged.
