Maybe some stupid questions but I have never participated on a league in gemp:

Is every league series independent? So every series is one sealed deck + boosters or can you use boosters from all league series? What do you mean with last series is only boosters?

The "Instructions" tab and also "League rules" tab in Gemp-LotR itself.
New/old way to play Lord of the Rings online.
Give Gemp-LotR a try.
All sets are finished

What is the X-List?
On the league page, when you watch league details, format used each serie is mentioned. When you click on the name (all sealed leagues use special "Limited" format) details appear.

anyone care to answer? the league rules aren't very specific. it says:
Quote
(SEALED) In case of Sealed format, only virtual product owned within that League can be used to build a deck.
that would mean even the sealed starters from each series could be mixed?

I find it confusing that it's called movie block sealed if cards from 11-19 are allowed (according to "details" -> "limited" in the league.

1) First week, you get a starter of your choice from the base set + 6 packs. Second week, same thing with starters/packs from the next set. Same thing for week 3. You can mix all of these cards together starting with week 2 if you wish. On week 4, you don't get any new starters, but you get 2 more packs from each set.

Some movie-block cards were reprinted in later sets. That's my best guess.
All cards do what they say, no more, no less.

Series are not independent. In Serie 2 you are allowed to use cards from Serie 1 and Serie 2. And so on. You never lose cards.

Movie Block because 99% cards used will be Movie Block. Only cards out of the block are:
- Thrarin, Dwarven Smith (in Gondor/Dwarf deck)
- Rumil, Brother of Haldir (in Gandalf/Elves deck)
- Gondorian Blade (in Ring-bound companions deck)

I decided to include those as they fit the decks and use no post-shadows mechanics. There will be no other set 11-19 cards allowed (because booster choices will be limited to 1-10 so you won't get such cards into your collection).

@bibfortuna: in this league rules regarding booster packs are a bit different. I updated the first post to contain all details.

Well, technically all cards are allowed and playable, you just want be able to acquire them in the league.

We have this league coming up again so I thought I'd bump this thread up from the third page.  Some people have been asking for decklists.

With this league coming up next week, I thought I'd transfer these decks to a wiki page so that this thread doesn't need to keep getting bumped. Perhaps Eukalyptus could also provide a link on gemp, as I don't think these forums are available to non-members.

I'm pretty sure you don't get that number of "Player's Choice" boosters.  I thought it was 4 for serie 1 (May have been 3, memory a little sketchy), but definitely none for series 2 and 3.
