Hardy Garrison
« on: January 10, 2013, 05:28:27 PM »
I used the combo Rohirrim guard and hardy garrison on a 2 vitality minion during a game on gemp, and it came up with the response that hardy garrison triggers first then the extertion from the guard. Is this true? or gemp messing up? or should i have just passed, resolved exertion and then mayb there would have been another opp to wound the minion with garrison. idk

It goes like this:

-Activate Rohirrim Guard's text
---Discard a card from hand
------Losing initiative automatically triggers
------Hardy Garrison triggers and wounds a minion
---Rohirrim Guard exerts the minion
All cards do what they say, no more, no less.

Wait, so even if it has one vitality, i can discard to exert, which does nothing, but then trigger hardy and kill the minion?

Yes, because of the timing system the wound goes first.

Yes, with these two cards, Hardy Garrison will always wound the minion before Rohirrim Guard can exert it.
