Still disputable?

So, I was reading back through all the archives here... Since it has been a while, I'd like to get more thoughts on White Hand Sieger Now, obviously, this card is the result of Big D's lack of interest in the last sets of the game. Again, obviously, the card is intended (I hope? Idk, these are still the same folks who created #$&*@! like LR, right? lol) to read something along the lines of "To play, spot an [Uruk-Hai] minion and a site you control."  However, there have been arguments made that taking control of a site is part of the requirement to play the Sieger. Thran and Kralik weighed in on this a while back, but idk that consensus was ever reached, but as Kralik noted, clarification is obviously needed.

@Bib, I'm particularly interested in your insight on this one!

Although "control a site" was used as a shorthand form of "take control of a site" in the later sets, the wording on the Sieger saying "you must control a site" makes it seems clear to me that you must already have a site controlled before you can play this minion.

I agree, though I can't understand why Decipher changed the way they did wording during later sets.  Something like "To play spot a site you control and an minion" is, I'm sure, the way they'd have done it back in the movie block days.

To be honest it is "Orkish Ax" that really annoyed me.  I can just about accept the hideous brokenness of some of the later cards, but allowing such a spelling mistake to pass by showed a total disregard to both the game and the players who had stayed loyal throughout the years.  So unprofessional.

Well, both ax and axe are acceptable spellings of the word. It's just that Orkish Ax is inconsistent with how it had been spelled throughout the game. I am similarly annoyed at how Saruman, Of Many Colours uses the British spelling, but all other cards, such as Armor, use the American spelling.
