Well, kind of.
I've always been blessed with good health. I don't eat like I should (who does?), I don't exercise like I should (again, like 95% of Americans

), yet I've still been blessed with a good strong body and, aside from a wee bit more waistline than I should have, no real issues with my body or health.
Until a few months ago, that is. I won't go into great detail, but I started having some...uh...
digestional issues. Nothing bad, and nothing regular, but uncomfortable in actuality and as a conversational topic.

It hasn't gotten better, and in fact, it seems over the last couple weeks to have gotten a bit worse. I finally went to the doctor last week, and after turning all kinds of different shades of red during the consultation and
*ahem* examination, I'm slated to have a colonoscopy on Thursday, which means I'll be pretty incapacitated Wednesday evening and most of the day Thursday. Assuming I'm not of the 0.35% that has a serious problem during the surgery or get diagnosed with a serious issue (which neither I nor the doctor expect, but better safe than sorry!), I should be back on my (iron

) feet by Friday.
It's really not a big deal, but because I HAVE been pretty healthy, any kind of surgerical procedure is a little unsettling simply because of lack of experience being put under and poked and prodded. So, I'm not fishing for a bunch of "we'll be praying for you"s or "hope all goes well"s or the like, but it WOULD be nice if those of you that DO pray could put in a good word for me with the Big Guy.

I know He's up there and in control, but it never hurts to put a bug in His ear, ya know?

So, yeah. That's it. Get back to the wild and wacky topics elsewhere on the forums and I'll stop dragging things down. Promise.
