My goal is to have a playset of the sets 1-19, 1 of every foil, 1 of every promo, 1 of every tengwar  card, and 1 of every reprint version.  That's probably an unrealistic goal, but the journey there is fun.

Say, how do you get promos. I have two of them, but not sure as to how I got them.

It's a mix of buying people's collections or buying singles, in both cases online.  I cleaned out the one local card shop that had LotR cards a few months ago

Haha, I live in Canada and buying online here is EXPENSIVE. If I were to buy from the US, shipping costs are sky-high. Say,  do you do trades or sell cards?
