Decklist Formats
« on: May 02, 2014, 11:06:12 AM »
As I've posted elsewhere, I'm in the middle of writing a converter for the LDC file format, and as you can see here, it's nearing completion.

So I thought to myself, I obviously need to convert this to something, and I'd like to get people's input on what formats they use.

There are several formats that have been used in the past, including Zorbec's, LackeyCCG, and gccg.  I'm pretty sure all three of those will be trivial to implement, since it's all text, but I just want to make sure there's nothing I've overlooked.

So what programs do you use to make decks?

I use Gemp, but i dont think that is tecnically a program.
"Do you ever wonder why we are here?  Maybe you're here because it is the only place you fit in.  Maybe you're here because you have nowhere else to go.  Maybe you're here because deep down, you want to be here.  It doesn't matter why you're here.  All that matters is that you are here!"

Yeah, I figure most people are in the same boat.  Once I've wrapped up this converter, I'm going to take a look at the gemp code and see how easy/hard it would be to implement decklist importing.
