Helms Deep Boxes, reprints, and a yellow dot?

I found an old store with a bunch of Decipher product (more complete details later, when I find the business card they gave me).  The owner half-remembered that you could identify which boxes of Helm's Deep were from the reprint run by a yellow dot on the box.

Has anyone heard of this?
