If you search ebay for completed listings you can find most of what you are looking for, especially for earlier sets. I would say ebay prices for full movie block sets have dropped slightly the past year (I got complete FoTR for ~$20 a few months ago at auction), while post-Movie block set prices have increased or stayed around the same. Foil cards have definitely gone up the past year. Not much but hope this helps.
