Even if all copies of Aragorn, Defensor de
las Gentes Libres had that text (and I would assume they do), it wouldn't matter - at least not at a tournament. Tournament guidelines specify that all cards work as worded on English versions. In fact, if your opponent (at a US tournament) wanted to be a prick, he could make you produce an English copy to ensure no confusion; if you could not do so, you would not be allowed to play that card.
Sucks, but those are the guidelines. Many top-level players got hit with that one early on when playing with their Chinese Goblin Armories or German Witch-king
Lord of Angmar. It should be an easy one to enforce, but some judges will have a text copy of all cards just for these situations, making it a difficult issue.
