I'm going to have an MLT...Mutton-Lettuce-Tomato when the mutton is nice and lean, mmmm.... ~Miracle guy from PB
Okay you have to know that I take making sandwiches very seriously. I grew up as a kid on just one base substance for sandwiches...peanut butter.

Why the sick smiley? pb and jelly, pb and honey, pb and bananas, pb and mayonnaise are not my cup of tea. I have turned away from these old practices in an attempt to find the holy grail of sandwich making.
My ideal sandwich: **denotes very important, pivotal parts of the sandwich
2x slices of average store-bought bread
**Mayonnaise (without pb of course

) on BOTH slices of bread
Bread-and-butter relish
**Cheddar Cheese (shredded preferred)
**Turkey Pastrami
**Cream Cheese, sliced
**onions, diced
Mustard
chili powder, to give a little spice, sprinkle a bit on cheese
Now I put it together, emphasis with relish, onions and mustard at the top, cream cheese & turkey on the bottom.
The magic of this operation is that I use the microwave,
yes, the microwave to nuke the whole sandwich just long enough to melt the cheese and make the cream cheese creamy and smooth.
That's the idea. I don't think anything could get better than this! Come on people, give me your ideas.
