basically, the more events you used as a free peoples player, the greater the chance your triumph cards would trigger. it's harder to rely on the
menace cards as a shadow player, because it depends on what your opponent does: the more tokens they put into the pool throughout the game, the greater the chance your
menace cards will trigger.
knowing that, you can easily see how sam could be broken in an online open format deck revolving around
shire countryside and
shadowplay/unheeded. toss in a bunch of pumps along with that stuff and sit back.
how about dwarven escort in a dwarf drawing engine? 'nuff said, yeah?
aragorn and
defend it and hope (&
no travellers in this land) along with a
boromir domt/stewards' legacy engine and
citadel of minas tirith? fuggedaboutit.
