I'm working on bringing another feature improvement to these boards. I'll keep details under wraps for now, but you should be seeing it within the next few days (depending on how much time I have).

You should know in advance that sometimes when I mess with the code, there may temporarily be odd results. For example:

• Posts are all blank
• Posts are filled with odd text
• Forums don't load in general
• Your avatar changes to Brittney Spears
• etc. etc. etc.

If any of these things happen, know that I am only changing the display settings and NONE of your original post content is altered in any way. It's still there!

Also, at some point I may need to move everyone to the default theme. If that happens, please wait until you hear the word to go back to your custom theme.

Alrighty, then. I got a little ahead of myself... it wasn't all that hard. The above post is an example: Hover over the link. Move the mouse up after hovering. What do you all think? Positioning details can be worked out later. Note: to see what I'm talking about you have to be using the default theme.

This makes reviewing decks so much easier...but its not working in the deck section...

Maybe you can have it show up immediately to the lower right of the cursor.

Autolink in general is not working, or the picture? I haven't added it for all cards -- just this one for testing.

EDIT: Still in testing anyways, it doesn't work quite right in Firefox. Text displays over the picture. Seems to work in IE7, though.

while I am sticking with firefox, and I like my theme...can you make it work with both?

EDIT: Works correctly with Firefox now. I'll wait to add it to other themes until it's finished... in the meantime, you can try switching your theme to see what it is that I'm talking about.

I'd like the system, but I'd also like a NOLINK command like that used in CC, where you can type NOLINK next to the word that would usually auto-link to prevent that word from autolinking. That would be great.

Ahhh... I was not aware of that feature. So you'd type something like hate and it would display hate without the link? Easy to do. OTOH, if there are any words that shouldn't be linking, that could be fixed. I could easily make hate, never, etc. case sensitive.

I fiddled with the positioning and it's probably as good as it's going to get. I tried your suggestion, NB, and had it appear to the right of the links... unfortunately, it also would poke out of the screen if the card title was too close to the right. So for now, it will appear in the same spot: one line down and on the left side of the post.
