Mine has a curious story...
Some ten years ago or so, I used to be into an online MUD called Wheel of Time MUD (the game still exists, wotmud.org). MUD's are online multiplayer games, the predecessors to games like WoW. The difference is that MUD's are only text. You have to use your imagination... much like reading a book. They are just as addicting, though.

So anyway, in this game, once your character gets to level 5, they get randomly assigned their base stats: str, dex, int, con, etc. These stats can NEVER change and are yours for the rest of the game. Unfortunately, this mechanic led many players to start (or "stat") many, many new characters and level to 5 until they got competitive numbers. Some of the stats would be simply unplayable in the later game. Poor newbies didn't know this and might spend the whole game dying in combat because they didn't spend 100's of hours in the early game.
Every character had to have a different name, and it had to be a good one, otherwise they were tossed in the "Silly Names" room. One night I was stat'ing various trolls... one after another, worthless numbers.
The Shop Around the Corner (great old movie with James Stewart) was playing in the other room, so I used Kralik as one of my names. Lo and behold, he got the good stats! So "Mister" Kralik became my online persona while I played WoTMUD for a few more months. Eventually I started using him in other places online.
Since I'm a Jimmy Stewart fan, he is my avatar. I don't own
The Shop Around the Corner, so I grabbed a screenshot from
It's a Wonderful Life (can you guess the scene?)
Apparently the name means "rabbit" in Czech... not "crab" as suspected.
