Does this sound like a reasonable offer? I posted this on my Haves/Wants list.

"Will offer up to 60 cards of your choice for either a foil M/NM Isildur's Bane, Answer to All Riddles, or Bilbo, Aged Ring-Bearer."

Of course these are 60 cards from my Haves list.

I assume you'd want the Bilbo, Aged Ring-Bearer 0D8?

Is the Bilbo not worth that much?

IMO 60 (relatively good) cards would be overkill for either Isildur's Bane foil or 0D8. Hill's Wholesale Gaming has been cranking out 0D8 on eBay, completing at $20-$30. Isildur's Bane foil might go for $20 or even less. Obviously up to you, but I'd say that amount for either of those two is more than generous.

ATAR foil... not sure I'd want to poke with a stick. I still don't understand the hype for shiny bubbles. :P

I just have to let off some steam ...why do some guys not understand, that cards from ROS and such sets are normally a little bit worth more than that old stuff (except siege of gondor of course) ....it is like you trade saruman, sos for an morgul brute (foil)....

Whoever offered that - just laugh in there face! And then once youve finished - take a deep breathe suck in all the air you can - and laugh some more.

AMFSOOK, if I was to sell those complete sets, are people actually willing to pay that much for each one? I have seen some go for much less than what you have even said.
