2R113 Red Book of Westmarch
10R18Treebeard, Keeper of the Watchwood

is worth more than
11RF1 The One Ring, The Ring of Rings (F)

Shadows is by far the easiest set to find, cards from it are not worth much.

Mithrandir I am known to the Elves, Tharkun to the dwarves; Olorin was the name in my youth in the West which is forgotten, in the South Incanus, in the North Gandalf; into the East I will not go."

A set 17 rare foil is worth more than a set 17 rare.

A set 17 rare foil is worth more than a set 17 rare.
I agree even without the winged mount foil, the first person should add something else.

A set 17 rare foil is worth more than a set 17 rare.

normally that's correct, but gandalf, returned is much harder to get then a foil anduril, stwb. ;)

:o Whot?? the last three gandalf, returned on ebay ended 6-7 dollars! the foil anduril's 12-14! ...little difference...
Gandalf, returned isn't that high, he is not even high in general...there are some cards, I really never thought of, being that expensive and highly traded. for Example:

Ugluk goes not for much, back to the light, just a small event, for 8-9. same for Fall back to helms deep. last two went for 10 and 11! Some cards are not that expensive as they seem to be and some are much more.

besides that anduril is way better than this gandalf....
@king:
of course not, just wanted to point out, that a single gandalf is not as much as an FOIL!! anduril or, as you said, even more. The one, who trades the anduril should better not trade it.
and the prices, I quoted do not lie, do they?!

And this I posted for all the people who still think these events are just a ''add to the trade''
I would never trade my back to the light's for an little ugluk, for example.

well, this is going straight to of-topic, but you're right when you say that prices do not lie. ;)
you can send me a PM if you like to discuss about the strength of certain cards compaired to others.

Gandalf, Returned is a very highly sought after card, and he's very good as well. Anduril is (imso) the harder card to find, as at one time I had 5 gandalf, returned and still couldn't find and anduril foil.

Vroengard, forgive me if I am confused.  Back to the Light may have gone for 8-9 (though I paid 3 for one), but Ugluk consistently goes for 12-17.

Both Gandalf, Returned and Anduril, StwB are great cards for gameplay and are hard to get.  IMO they should be priced about the same.  Now in this situation the Anduril is Foil, which IMO makes it about 65% more valuable than the Gandy, if not more.

I save most offers that ended, the last 2 (mistake, not 4) ugluks went under 9 dollars, dunno where you looked...and the last back to the light for 8 or 9, not know. Sadly I not saved THESE offers.  But maybe you find when google it. I am very sure about, ended last week.

What site are you looking on? Ebay's Ugluks go for more than you say, generally $13+.
