Clarification on Formats

So, having found someone else who actually collected LoTR cards, we're boning up on what's been shaking since I stopped collecting in disgust after they banned the entire Fellowship block from standard play.

Thing is, I'm not sure I'm understanding the formats available now properly.

According to the comprehensive rules v4.0, standard format allows all bocks except cards on the X-List; however the CRD linked to from here says that everything in the Fellowship and Towers blocks is X-listed.

Am I reading that right? If so, what format will allow me to play a fun mix of the cards I have (including Reflections) while still preventing the debauched excesses of Open format, if any?

Does anyone have a copy of the older CRDs, where the most suspect cards from Fellowship and Towers are specifically X-listed?

Movie Block is sets 1-10.

I realised after posting that there were forums for formats not listed in the last official rules.

Movie and Expanded formats here I come!

You can also play Fellowship Block, or Towers Standard. Movie is a favorite around many players here.
