I personally think its a bunch of baloney, in the Bible Christ says no one but the Father will know the day of his return. I personally am a Christian and know many, many others who also think this is ridiculous, and even harmful. All the people who believed him (including a guy who spent his life savings advertising for it in new york) will have a rude awakening tomorrow when they haven't been raptured, and who knows what it'll do to their faith and life. I find it kinda sad... Who else has heard about this and what are your thoughts?

Harold Camping already failed to predict Judgement Day (technically he is predicting Armageddon, Judgement Day comes after the Millenium) back in 1994, so I am not sure why anyone still follows him.

Jehovah's Witnesses' have also predicted the End several times incorrectly (although, as with Harold Camping, proponents feel they were steps towards the End) and they still have many followers.

Its hard to admit you are wrong and then turn back on some basic beliefs. I don't envy the position his followers are in.

It end can't come! The German cup final hasn't finished. And there is the possibility of overtime and a penalty shoot-out so who knows when it's gonna be over...so there you go :)

Everybody wants to make predictions this days so here are mine......

Heat beat the Bulls in 6, Mavs beats the Thunder in 5 and the Heat sweep the Mavs :up:.

Oh and tomorrow it WILL rain somewhere in the US or Europe.

I don't think the Mavs will be swept,  :P

And I think the Bulls can still pull it off actually - just need to shoot better than the 35% or so they had in game 2.

that is something my dad says to people who buy into end of the world dates. "If you really believe this stuff, then write me a $1,000 dollar check which I can cash the day after (in this case October 22,  2011). Any avid student of the Bible knows that the end can't arrive yet, there are still things which are suppose to occur which have not.

He might be joking, but my predictions are looking more and more like the truth. It rained the day I claimed, Mavs beat the Thunder to go up 2-1 (I predicted Mavs in 5) and the Heat beat the Bulls to take a 2 game to 1 lead (I predicted the Heat in 6). Anyway, to all you non-believers, you better get ready cause I'm only making enough Kool-aid to get the first 50 people that come follow me to my compound a ride on the comet. The Naptronamore Comet is expected to arrive on November 18, 2045. Get your acts together, believe what I say and a nice glass of kool-aid (with special sauce) will be waiting for you and the ride of your life time will soon follow :up:.
