I will protect Felipe Musco. If you take the first letters of Mieldy and Funky you get FM which points to Felipe Musco. So I will protect him. I also think there is a identity clue in here as well, but will have to reread and look at past incog thread to determine my thoughts .

Edit: For some reason I want to think it is either M64, why not sure other than his attitude. But then again MM even though hardly active now that the whole doughnuts and coffee reference are back from an earlier incog game where me and he went on forever about a dougnut skit LOL. I will wait and see what else developes since I am lacking in the arrest chances department .

Maybe, NK. Maybe. But that ignores all the new clues Incog just gave us.

Unless they're meant to throw us off...? :-k

Funky. Mieldly. Head. Davis. David. Issues.

Jeez, could be ANYTHING.

I'll protect lem0nhead for now, since I can't think of anything better. But I don't think we have it yet. I HOPE it's Felipe, but it just doesn't feel right. I'll keep digging until the final buzzer...whenever that may be.
Best regards,
Dáin

holy crap I change my protection to me. funky means Munky Mieldy mean Fieldy Davis is Jonathon Davis David is the drummer and issues is an album title. It all points to KORN. I protect me if I can't someone protect me NOW!

EDIT: oh yeah even aHEAD fits that is the other guitarist other than Munky. Altough David and Head are gone now that still makes the original KORN and that is the reason for half my handle . PROTECT ME!

If I had a wild guess I would say protect me, LOL. The YOU! Your Doing! part makes it seem like perhaps he is targeting the person that last 'foiled' his plans maybe. Maybe he feels funky by going after a cop this time as well. If nothing else comes up I will be forced to protect myself .

Also seems I was on the right track right after his post to in a round about way .

Go for it. Barricade yourself.

Bravo! =D> That makes SO much more sense. The "first" must have meant switching the first letters of the two words, and then the rest of the words (David, Davis, Head) all fit from there. Even Issues works, as that was apparently the title of their 1999-2001 album. Thank you, Wikipedia!

Someone should probably still protect FM, just in case. Never trust a killer, right?

Dáin

Ok since I can apparently change my protection I ditch FM and do dive in a deep dark cave with loads of guns and ammo. Come and get me Incognito I will see you coming where you can't see me until I unload on you .

I shook my fist as I tracked down NappyKoRn, only to find him hiding out in a deep dark cavern. There was so much ammunition surely stocked inside that I could smell the gunpowder from hundreds of yards away. Not in the mood for spelunking or bouldering today, I decided a simple taunt was in order. Flipping on my megaphone I pointed it towards the cavern entrance and shouted:

BOO!

Laughing at the panicked and wild gunfire that ensued, I dropped my "special delivery" and moved a short distance away, carefully covering my tracks.

A very bewildered NappyKorn emerged shortly after and found another recording, this time without that meddlesome Do-Gooder interferring. Ironically I had him to thank for the idea, not that I would be sending him a thank you card any time soon. Perhaps a different card eventually...

I watched as Officer Korn played the message after spending several minutes making sure it was not booby-trapped.

Greetings, Officer! Didn't scare you did I? Come now, don't pretend I didn't. You don't look any less frightened now than you did a few minutes ago. I seeeeeee you...

I could barely contain my laughter as I saw him scan the area.

Don't waste your time looking. You wouldn't believe it was me even if you did see...who you thought might be me.

At any rate I am actually somewhat glad you figured out my clues. Took you and your band of merry men long enough to figure it all out even after I practically spelled it out for you.

In the back of my mind I could hear HIM screaming again. I pulled out my bottle and popped a pill, determined to shut him up as I strained to hear the rest.

You see, I don't really want to kill you. You all are just too much fun! "Fun"-sized. Heh heh heh.

Anyway I am sure you are wondering where to go next. Take this back to your fellow Officers and then? I suggest you all may want to have some candy, Korn.

This time I could not help it and laughed aloud. Fortunately the laughter on my own recording drowned it out.

I watched as Officer Korn flipped the recorder over and found the note that said simply "Saturday". He then made his way towards the police station, pausing only momentarily to study one track I had left. I breathed a sigh of relief as he shrugged it off and left.

Almost gave us both away there not-so-incognit...

SHUT UP!

Repulsed at the voice coming from my own body---MY body now, NOT his unless I allowed it to be so!---I popped another pill, stifled another laugh, and headed my own way.

Wow, that's easy. He just gave us like, tons of clues to Incog being Nappy. (Sorry Nappykorn if this offends you) but basically what the mysterious incog said was that he wanted you guys to find out it was Nappykorn that he was trying to kill. "At any rate I am actually somewhat glad that you figure out the clues"
There is also the kind of back and forth talking that he's been using the entire time which fits into the smeagol/gollum thing, he even says that the voice comes from inside him. Plus he says not so incog, like, not so incog but more of a police official.
Anyway, I bet there's more clues to this, if not you guys don't have to make the arrest if you don't want to. Plus, I have a hint on who he is attacking: he says Merry men. and he says fun-size candy korn, fun size meaning small. Hmmmmm Merry, small, theres a posibility that it could be pippen the brave  but they are just hints nothing like real evidence, so if you guys don't figure what these cluse mean, you can protect him as a last resort.
Time
What know we of this despondent thing
No sign no sound no tranquil ring
We try to tell its quantity
yet fail to see the point
Only one can know of it
to this eternal joint
We have not power in Use
To hold this creature bay
But only wait for it to change
Inside the soul of it we lay

I don't think NK is Incog. It just doesn't make sense. Though NK IS the only one to actually KILL anyone this round.... :P

Seriously, though. I can understand that line of thinking...NK was NOT mentioned last time, and now suddenly is the ONLY witness to the tape and all THIS time, but it just doesn't add up. If Incog WAS NK, why concoct that whole story? Why not just show up at the station with a tape like I apparently did last time?

That all being said, I'm starting to form my own suspicions about who it might be, but I'd rather keep that in my own head for now and communicate it through PMs to ya'll when I'm more sure. I don't think all this suspect talk should be had here in the open where Incog can read it...that's what PMs are for: privacy. ;)

Anyway, not sure what to make of the clues yet. Candy and fun-sized certainly seem to suggest children...who here HAS kids? Shieldmaiden does, Kralik does, Ulmo does...and that's it that I know of.

Could be something completely different, but it doesn't scream Hobbits to me, personally. Who knows, though?
Best regards,
Dáin

I protect me.  A long shot but my wife's name is Candi and I have kids.
This Incog certainly is cryptic.
