I'm reporting Smeagollum for abuse.

We played a War of the Ring standard format game. He conceded quickly.

Since I intend to practice for the constructed league, I created a new table with the same deck. Smeagollum joined in.

Not long after the game started, he accused me of 'playing the same boring deck all the time' . The facts are that this was my fifth game with that deck,  that I have another war of the ring deck with completely different fellowship, that I played with more times (but the same shadow, as I don't like the new post Shadows cultures), and that I was practicing for the coming up league (the deck is difficult t play).

Now I generally have zero tolerance for the people who use the partial anonimity that the internet provides for abusive behaviour, especially since this is just a game and we are the people who share mutual interests, so I let him know that in direct, yet  civil manner.

As the game progressed and I was in a clear winning situation, two of my friends came to the chat room to inquire about the "primary capital accumulation" that has taken place as the result of the merchant system change. We were speaking in Croatian. The exchange wasn't very long, but the fact that we spoke Croatian and that I responded to them as I was waiting for him to perform his actions prompted Smeagollum to start using abusive language and hurling insults.

The insults ranged from "why we are speaking ******* Russian" and accusing me of cheating to claiming that "all Croats are criminal scum".

There should be zero tolerance policy for this kind of abuse, especially as chauvinism is involved.

Thanks for the info. I thought that the transcript remained on the server for inspection and haven't bothered copying it.

Upon inspection, I have played only those two games against Smeagollum with that deck, and I distinctly remember playing him before, with drastically different decks.

Anyway, another ragequitter appears:  hercous rage quit after being swarmed by the Uruk-hai at site 8.
