How important is TLHH/GCCG to you?

I post from time to time. But I lurk several times a week!

What's funny about the site is that I haven't played a game in months (offline, I've never used GCCG), but since I come here so often I feel like I still play regularly.

I think the real shame is that as much as I love the forums, my current activities (internship, among other things) don't permit me to take the time sorting through my massive collection so I can trade/sell as I was always planning to.

Having taken my entire collection with me overseas (huge shipping costs), I feel the urge to get to it soon, but I never do. And since there are fewer people trading/selling than there used to be, I admit I lost a bit of interest in the strategy article side of things. I was glad I got the PM, or I might not have replied to this thread at all! Being busy sucks sometimes.

As for me, not played the game in several months. It's sad, I know.

I read this forum EVERY day. I play in real life and took many deck ideas from this site. I like to refer to the site for rules, card lists, documentation, or just to read comments other make. I do not post a lot (english is not my native language) but I really enjoy being around. I saw that the site attracted a small bunch of new players recently so that's really positive! We should keep this site alive.

Aye, and there are a lot of people using this site, but not actively participating. I myself was checking the database and reading some posts for about 2 months before I finally decided to register.

I'm one of those "members who join and then quit suddenly" people, but I always visit the site when I'm in a LotR TCG mood. I wish I could get my GCCG up though! This site and forum is awesome regardless!

Please understand this - we want Decipher/New Line/etc in our good graces - we do NOT want to piss them off before we get a chance to do some good with the game.

NO VIRTUAL CARDS!!!! Just play the game with whatever rules you want to make and with whatever cards you want to use. ALL that matters for the future of the game is that people play it.
