[2]Arwen, Daughter of Elrond (V) [Elven]
Follower
Str: +1
Aid - exert an Elf (or Aragorn)
Each minion skirmishing bearer loses all gametext keywords.
"Long she had been in the land of her mother's kin, in Lórien beyond the mountains, and was but lately returned to Rivendell to her father's house."
1 V 30
fine

[3]Galadriel, Lady of Light (V) [Elven]
Follower
Str: +1
Vit: +1
Res: +1
Aid - add a burden.
To play, spot 3 Elves (or 3 fellowship companions).
Each time Galadriel is transferred to a companion with twilight cost X, you may choose a Shadow player who must discard their Shadow card with twilight cost X from play unless that player removes [X].
"Very tall they were, and the Lady no less tall than the Lord; and they were grave and beautiful… and the hair of the lady was of deep gold..."
1 V 45
you could word it choose a shadow player to discard a card with twilight cost X or remove X

Eh, it's okay. Could be a lifesaver at the right time, I suppose. Still, I'd toss in a resistance bonus, or at least a conditional one (like, if bearer is Aragorn or not exhausted or something).

SoP has a very good point on the wording. Not sure I like it adding a burden, since [3] plus the spotting requirements already makes it a hefty card to put in play...perhaps add a threat or two instead? Seems MUCH more appropriate to me, based on her relationship to Frodo, and Elves have to work a bit to remove threats.
Best regards,

I don't like that wording because it could be misleading.

'... you may choose a Shadow player who must discard their Shadow card with twilight cost X or remove [X].'

That could mean that you choose a Shadow player to discard a card, or remove [X] as 2 separate clauses.

Changed them according to your other suggestions though!

Now leaving the Elves for a bit, I suddenly realised that there are only 2 Dwarf allies in the game (and therefore until now 2 [Dwarven] followers) which seemed a bit crazy to me. So, given that Dwarves don't desperately need new good companions, here are Farin and Frór as followers, followed by a Gimli.

[2]Farin, Dwarven Emissary (V) [Dwarven]
Follower
Str: +2
Aid - [1].
To play, spot a Dwarf.
Each time bearer wins a skirmish, you may draw a card.
1 V 11

[2]Frór, Gimli's Kinsman [Dwarven]
Follower
Str: +1
Aid - [2].
Each time bearer wins a skirmish, you may play a [Dwarven] condition from your discard pile.
"It appeared that among the splendour of their works of hand the hearts of the Dwarves of the Lonely Mountain were troubled."
2 V 6

[2]Gimli, Son of Glóin (V) [Dwarven]
Follower
Str: +2
Fellowship. Aid - exert a fellowship companion.
Bearer is damage +1.
"There was a younger Dwarf at Glóin's side, his son Gimli."
1 V 13

Frors strength bonus could drop to 1 as condition abuse for dwarves is why that card from sog was x listed. Might want to watch that.

No issues here, I suppose. I MIGHT raise his aid cost to [2] though, since such an easy +2 boost is kinda cheap for only [1].

Yeah, I'd lower it to strength +1, like lem0n suggested.

Excellent. +3 might be a bit much, though...+2 would probably be better.

Okay I've had some crazy ideas, so I just have to post them!

Cast it into the Fire! has always caught my imagination as a cool card built for multiplayer games, and so I've made a cycle of similar cards that are designed only for such games, and here are some of them.

[1] What Are We Waiting For? (V) [Dwarven]
Event • Fellowship
Spot a Dwarf to make each Shadow player draw a card. Then draw a card for each card drawn in this way.
"'It is not despair, for despair is only for those who see the end beyond all doubt.'"
2 V 15

(0) Curse Their Foul Feet! (V) [Elven]
Event • Fellowship
Spot an Elf to make each Shadow reveal 1 random card from your hand. Then reveal the same number of random cards from each Shadow player's hand.
1 V 36

[1] Treachery Deeper Than You Know (V) [Gandalf]
Event • Maneuver
Spot Gandalf to make each Shadow player discard one of your conditions. Then, discard the same number of Shadow cards.
"'By foul craft, Saruman has crossed Orc with Goblin Men - he is breeding an army in the Caverns of Isengard.'"
1 V 86

Now, let's have a card which completely changes how a turn plays out, just for fun!

[3] Questions That Need Answering (V) [Gandalf]
Condition • Support Area
Search.
To play, spot Gandalf.
All players must place their hand face-up on the table in front of them and must keep the top card of their draw deck face-up at all times.
Discard this condition at the end of the turn.
"'There are some things that I must see to…'"
1 V 81

They all seem fine to me, but Curse Their Foul Feet! is pretty dull. I like the idea of Questions That Need Answering. It's nice to potentially shake things up sometimes.

It is. As soon as the condition is discarded, its text can no longer have effect as it is not in play.

They discard your conditions, but you can discard minions!

Now some more cards in the leagues of those themes above.

[1] What Are They? (V) [Gondor]
Event • Maneuver
Spot a [Gondor] Man to make each Shadow player heal a minion. Then heal the same number of companions.
"'They were men… once.'"
1 V 119

(0) Change of Plans (V) [Gondor]
Condition • Support Area
To play, spot 2 [Gondor] companions.
At the end of each phase, each player must shuffle their hand into their draw deck and draw 8 cards.
Discard this condition at the start of the regroup phase.
"'Then let me help you. There are other ways, Frodo - other paths we might take.'"
1 V 99

This Aragorn is part of a cycle of fellowship companions that are amazing at what they do. Then there is the cycle of followers (which you've seen glimpses of already) and then a series of them designed to work with fellowship companions.

[4]Aragorn, Ranger of the North (V) [Gondor]
Companion • Man
Str: 8
Vit: 4
Res: 6
Fellowship. Ranger.
While you can spot 5 fellowship companions, Aragorn is defender +1.
Aragorn cannot be overwhelmed unless his strength is tripled.
"'Lonely men we are, Ranger of the wild hunters - but ever hunters of the servants of the Enemy…'"
1 V 89

Good point, i missed the crucial word card not condition. Still unpleasant.

Now some more cards in the leagues of those themes above.

[1] What Are They? (V) [Gondor]
Event • Fellowship
Spot a [Gondor] Man to make each Shadow player take into hand a Shadow condition from their discard pile. Then heal a companion for each Shadow condition returned to hand in this way.
"'They were men… once.'"
1 V 119

More powerful for the shadow than you for sure. This is shooting yourself in the foot.

Each phase??? Thats mental. Gees  ???

Changed What Are They? and also added an Aragorn.

I'm feeling Legolas, Gimli and Boromir will be coming. ;)
