Yeah better choices, still think the dwarf version is not balanced right, too strong in certain ways.

NOW we're talking. I like them MUCH better as conditions. Perhaps limit the skirmish ability of each to once per skirmish though, lest they get out of hand.
Best regards,

Okay I think I've found some reasonable replacements for the Battle Axe and Bow earlier.

[1] Halls of My Home (V) [Dwarven]
Condition • Support Area
Tale.
Fellowship: Exert Gimli and add [2] to take into hand a fellowship follower from your discard pile.
Skirmish: Exert Gimli to make a fellowship companion damage +1.
"'I will go and look on the halls of Durin, whatever may wait there…'"
1 V 18
fine by me.

[1] Mallorn-Trees (V) [Elven]
Condition • Support Area
Maneuver: Spot Legolas and discard a card from hand to transfer a fellowship follower to a companion.
Skirmish: Exert Legolas to exert a minion skirmishing a fellowship companion.
"'Alas for Lothlórien that I love! It would be a poor life in a land where no mallorn grew.'"
1 V 54
fine
Felipe Musco:
(after all, it's a CHARITY organization, I still have SOME principles, even having gone through Law School... :P),
Elf Lvr:
Bit of a scrawny Iowan kid with an unhealthy artifact obsession. Oh, and a God of Spam. In a good way.

Well, I think that more or less concludes the main fellowship theme. So the question is: where do you want to go now?

I have currently only done Free Peoples cards (though most until the end of Realms of the Elf Lords), so here are the choices comprised of the main cultures with the last remaining multicuture strategies:

1) [Dwarven]
2) [Elven]
3) [Gandalf]
4) [Gondor]
5) [Shire]
6) Tales
7) Pipeweed

Choose wisely.  8-)

Pipeweed. One of my all-time favorite deck ideas.

Well then, here's a bit of a compromise. First are some [Gandalf] cards for the Company linking to what has just come before. And after that, is a [Gandalf] card that works with both fellowship and pipeweeds.

[1]Gandalf's Cart (V) [Gandalf]
Possession • Support Area
To play, spot Gandalf.
Each time you play a card on a fellowship companion, you may add a [Gandalf] token here.
Fellowship: Remove X tokens from this condition to take a [Gandalf] or fellowship card into hand from your discard pile with a twilight cost of X.
"… a cart came through Bywater… An old man was driving it all alone."
1 V 73

[1] The Nine Walkers (V) [Gandalf]
Condition • Support Area
Tale.
To play, spot Gandalf.
Each fellowship card's twilight cost is -1.
"'Nine companions to match the Nine Ringwraiths… So be it.'"
1 V 79

You may say that strength boosts are a bit of an abstraction from a pipe. I would respond that this is what pipeweed has always needed, and it's just as much as an abstraction as the new pipeweeds from Rise of Saruman and Treachery & Deceit.

(0)Gandalf's Pipe (V) [Gandalf]
Possession • Pipe
Bearer must be Gandalf.
Skirmish: Discard a pipeweed from play to make a fellowship companion strength +2.
"'I know what is the matter with me,' he muttered, as he sat down by the door. ‘I need smoke!'"
1 V 74

Very cool but i think its OP. Really strong recursion that is TOO flexible imho.

Condition • Support Area
Tale.
To play, spot Gandalf.

"'Nine companions to match the Nine Ringwraiths… So be it.'"
1 V 79

Not unique (and i know it cant be!) so its way to strong. Its like a pyscho gandalfs wisdom even with a •.

(0)Gandalf's Pipe (V) [Gandalf]
Possession • Pipe
Bearer must be Gandalf.
Skirmish: Discard a pipeweed card from play to make a fellowship companion strength +2.
"'I know what is the matter with me,' he muttered, as he sat down by the door. ‘I need smoke!'"
1 V 74

As long as your pipeweeds themselves dont give amazing bonuses this is ok.

Changed the cart, but I contest Nine Walkers. You could only play 9 fellowship cards in a game because only the actual members of the Company have it. You could end up playing more by using the followers, but it is not likely as fellowship is not a follower discard strategy. Plus 1 member of the fellowship has a twilight cost of (0) (Frodo) whether non-Ring-bearer companion or follower and so really we're only looking at 8 cards.

O Ok i just assumed as you were making fellowship followers and the card states "cards" i thought you would make other fellowship cards such as anduril etc.... Nvm then...

I wasn't planning on that. Disregarding the power level of Nine Walkers for the moment, do you think that's a good idea?

I think its a bit pointless to be honest, it ruins the specialness of "fellowship" if you start making everything with the keyword. I wasnt that fond of the keyword when decipher released it and not just because it was a half baked rushed idea with no thought.

Yeah, seems okay. Good reimagining of the original.

Ugh. Just not a big fan of the idea of strength and pipeweeds (despite your comments...sorry!). I like the original MUCH better, but this is certainly fair and balanced. I think you could drop the "card" though, as it's not really necessary.

Dáin
